You may begin your Route 66 adventure anywhere along America’s Mother Road, joining other square dancers on their way to California or travel solo. We will all gather at the Route 66 museum in Victorville, California on Sunday, June 21. You will receive a special T-shirt at a barbecue lunch where you can share your stories with other Route 66 travelers, and you might even win one of our door prizes. We will then caravan into the streets of Long Beach on Monday, June 22 to let everyone know that square dancers have arrived! As part of the Route 66 caravan, you will receive priority access to the RV parking site on the grounds of the Long Beach Convention Center. Sound like fun?
